Summary

This session, in collaboration with various international cardiology societies, focuses on the management of primary PCI in different challenging situations. It presents three cases: a late-comer STEMI patient requiring unconventional techniques, a STEMI patient with a free-floating thrombus in the left main, and a STEMI patient with an unrecognized mechanism of the myocardial infarction. The discussions emphasize the importance of tailoring the treatment approach, utilizing specialized techniques, and addressing the underlying causes to achieve optimal outcomes in these complex primary PCI scenarios.
