Calcium and complications management in bifurcation

Facilitators: R. Diletti, N. Salvatella

Summary

Address calcium-related challenges and complication management in coronary bifurcation PCI. This session reviews the impact of intraprocedural complications during two-stent techniques, procedural success and one-year outcomes of intravascular lithotripsy in calcific bifurcations and unprotected left main PCI, and bench-test analyses of perforation management. Additionally, it compares mini-crush and nano-crush stenting techniques for complex lesions.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Impact of non-fatal intraprocedural complications of systematic two-stent techniques on adverse events
  • Intravascular lithotripsy for calcific coronary bifurcation: procedural success and one-year outcomes
  • One-year outcomes of intravascular lithotripsy procedures for unprotected left main PCI
  • Perforation management in the setting of bifurcation PCI – Bench-test analysis
  • Mini-crush or nano-crush stenting technique for complex coronary bifurcation lesions
