Summary

This session highlights the minimalist approach to tricuspid valve therapy with TricValve implantation, a contrast-free, minimally invasive procedure guided by transthoracic echo and minimal fluoroscopy. Clinical evidence shows reduced hospitalisations, improved quality of life, and encouraging mid-term outcomes, including smaller right heart chamber dimensions and reduced reverse flow.

Learning Objectives

  • To demonstrate, through a TricValve implantation, how tricuspid regurgitation can be treated using a minimally invasive, contrast-free procedure guided by transthoracic echo (TTE) and requiring minimal fluoroscopy time—resulting in a safe and effective outcome for the patient
  • To present TricValve clinical evidence from a self-controlled study showing a reduction in hospitalisation rates and improved quality of life in patients with tricuspid regurgitation
  • To highlight mid-term study data showing a reduction in right heart chamber dimensions following TricValve implantation, with significant decrease in reverse flow to the vena cava and improvement in right ventricular pressure
