Summary

In this PCR Tokyo Valves 2025 session on M-TEER for primary mitral regurgitation, gain valuable insights starting with an overview of current TEER devices. Benefit from four case studies that highlight the features of these devices, explore strategies to prevent mitral regurgitation recurrence post-TEER, and delve into the anatomical criteria for device selection in both central and non-central mitral regurgitation. The session covers two cases of recurrent mitral regurgitation, followed by a detailed analysis of primary mitral regurgitation treated with first MitraClip, and then PASCAL, from procedure to outcomes.

Learning Objectives

  • To capture the features of current TEER device for primary mitral regurgitation
  • To learn how to prevent mitral regurgitation recurrence after TEER for primary mitral regurgitation
  • To discuss anatomical criteria for TEER device selection in central and non-central mitral regurgitation
