With the collaboration of Canadian Association of Interventional Cardiology and Icelandic Cardiac Intervention Group and Interventional Cardiology Working Group, Association of Cardiologists of Bosnia and Herzegovina

Summary

This session showcases a series of complex STEMI treatment challenges from diverse international settings, highlighting difficult coronary anatomies and complicated procedures. It discusses nuanced clinical scenarios where artery recanalisation does not always equate to reperfusion, and presents stepwise approaches to managing multivessel disease, renal failure, and active bleeding.

Learning Objectives

  • To see challenging coronary anatomy and complicated procedures in STEMI patients
  • To deal with different clinical scenarios; recanalisation of artery does not always mean reperfusion
  • To discuss stepwise approaches in multivessel disease, renal failure and active bleeding
