Complication management in CTO PCI - Part 2

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2026 clinical cases submissions

Summary

This session focuses on managing complications during chronic total occlusion (CTO) PCI procedures. It presents challenging cases including artery perforations, donor vessel-related procedural difficulties, and intramural hematoma rescue guided by intravascular ultrasound (IVUS). Strategies to address in-stent CTO and the unpredictable nature of CTO PCI complications are also explored in depth.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • The aftermath of a double-barrel PCI in a chronic total occlusion
  • Unexpected left anterior descending artery perforation during CTO-PCI
  • Friend turned foe: when donor vessel protection creates a procedural challenge
  • IVUS-guided rescue in a CTO PCI complicated by intramural hematoma
  • Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong
  • How to deal with in-stent CTO?
