Summary

This focused session explores optimal strategies for treating left main and complex bifurcation coronary lesions, a setting that remains both anatomically and technically demanding.

It highlights the role of intracoronary imaging in refining procedural planning and optimising stenting strategy and technique. The discussion also reviews the mechanical properties and clinical performance of the Ultimaster Nagomi sirolimus-eluting stent system, supported by recent data in complex and high-risk PCI populations.

Emphasis is placed on the challenges of true bifurcation lesions, the procedural risks associated with two-stent techniques, and the importance of tailored approaches to improve early and mid-term outcomes.

Learning Objectives

  • To understand the best treatment options for patients presenting with left main and complex bifurcations lesions
  • To learn how to optimise both strategy and technique using intracoronary imaging
  • To understand the mechanical properties of the Ultimaster Nagomi Sirolimus eluting coronary stent system and share the latest clinical data
