Left main PCI: technical limits

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2026 abstract submissions

Summary

This comprehensive session reviews the technical challenges and current strategies in left main PCI. Topics include provisional versus DK crush approaches, IVUS-based assessment of ostial LAD lesions, long-term outcomes of DCB use in left main bifurcations, stenting strategies for complex lesions, and the prognostic value of post-PCI FFR and IVUS compared to surgical revascularization.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Left main disease done by provisional strategy and its comparison with DK crush
  • DCB catheters in PCI of true left main bifurcation lesions: six-years follow-up
  • PCI for ostial stenosis of left circumflex or left anterior descending artery
  • Stenting strategies in patients with "false" left main bifurcation lesions
  • Post PCI FFR in left main intervention for residual ischemia: a pilot Study - POLMARIS STUDY
  • Prognostic impact of IVUS during left main PCI vs. coronary artery bypass grafting at 10 years
