Summary

This session explores recent advancements in drug-eluting stent (DES) technology, featuring global real-world evidence on short dual antiplatelet therapy (DAPT) with polymer-free DES, angiographic outcomes from pooled TARGET trials, and real-world registry data on various DES platforms. It also presents post-marketing surveillance results and systematic reviews of ultrathin-strut everolimus-eluting stents, reflecting ongoing refinement of DES as the gold standard in coronary revascularization.
