Tough scenarios in multivessel disease

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2026 clinical cases submissions

Summary

This session addresses challenging scenarios in multivessel coronary artery disease (CAD), particularly when surgical options are limited. Case discussions include IVUS-guided PCI with rotational atherectomy, management of combined severe aortic stenosis and multivessel disease, acute mitral regurgitation with cardiogenic shock, anomalous coronary anatomy, severe kidney disease, and complex ostial lesions. Emphasis is placed on precision, safety, and individualized treatment strategies in complex multivessel interventions.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • When surgery is not an option: IVUS-guided PCI with rotational atherectomy in multivessel disease
  • Three-vessel disease and severe aortic stenosis: who is the gamechanger?
  • Acute mitral regurgitation and cardiogenic shock: "to complete revascularise or not" is the question
  • Anomalous right coronary from left anterior descending and triple vessel disease
  • Multivessel CAD in severe kidney disease
  • When precision and safety matter: managing an ostial lesion in complex multivessel disease
