CTO track: EuroPCR 2026 highlights

With chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions increasingly performed, the need for structured education is growing. This trend reflects an ageing patient population, more surgical turndowns, and a rising number of post-CABG cases, leading to more complex coronary disease patterns.

To address this, EuroPCR 2026 launched a dedicated CTO track combining live cases from European centres, focused teaching sessions, and a hands-on simulation programme.
