PCR’s Got Talent: abstract competition
PCR’s Got Talent, EuroPCR abstract competition, is a unique platform for practitioners to improve their work with the help of experienced Guest Faculty.
What is the PCR’s Got Talent competition?
PCR’s Got Talent is an innovative scientific abstract competition that takes place every year during EuroPCR, the World-Leading Course in interventional cardiovascular medicine.
It is designed to help advance the work of young interventional cardiologists and boost their presentation skills.

Practitioners under 40 years old who have presented only one abstract for the competition and have not accessed the final round or won in previous editions.

The winner is announced during the Awards Ceremony and gets to present the Main Arena stage during the Closing Ceremony, an invitation to join the next edition of EuroPCR as a Guest Faculty and more visibility of their work and research topic.

For each round of the competition a jury composed of four Guest Faculty, including former PCR's Got Talent awardees, is in charge of judging the contestant's work and performance.
✨An innovative educational format
PCR’s Got Talent goes far beyond the traditional abstract presentation. Participants benefit from professional coaching between rounds, gaining valuable insight into both content and delivery. The competition opens with a demanding three-minute elevator-pitch presentation, limited to just three slides. Those who succeed in engaging the jury and audience progress to subsequent rounds, where they are granted more time and the opportunity to use additional slides.
Throughout the competition, each presenter’s work and on-stage performance are evaluated by audience vote, creating a dynamic and convivial atmosphere. This unique experience offers an exceptional opportunity to receive high-level professional guidance on how to distil complex ideas and communicate them with maximum impact. The skills and advice gained extend well beyond PCR’s Got Talent, benefiting all future presentations throughout your career.
