The history of the Course is closely linked to the genesis of angioplasty. It has grown consistently in size - from a few dozen to thousands of participants each year, and has always been innovative in the effective sharing of knowledge, skills and experience.

Just five years after the very first PTCA on a human, Prof. Jean Marco launches LIVE demonstration Courses - paving the way for what would become PCR

The Complex Coronary Angioplasty and New Techniques in Interventional Course is hosted by Prof. Jean Marco along with Jean Fajadet, in Toulouse.

The renamed Paris Course on Revascularisation (PCR) merges with The European Cardiovascular Summit headed by Patrick Serruys, to become EuroPCR.
