Imaging at the core @PCR London Valves 2019

Prepare to enjoy engaging discussions in the Imaging Learning Centre!

Fluoroscopy, echocardiography, multi-slice computed tomography: imaging is central to interventional cardiology, and there will be a strong focus on it throughout the Course, thanks to valuable input from imaging specialists for the Programme-building. All members of the Heart Valve Team - interventionalists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, anaesthesiologists and imaging specialists – whatever their level, will find more than plenty to enhance their skills and knowledge over the three days in London.

Imaging Learning Centre: 6 structural imaging sessions

Following its highly successful launch last year, the Imaging Learning Centre is increasing in size to provide six 90-minute, highly practical, case-based sessions on Monday and Tuesday. They will cover :

  • the basics of multi modality imaging
  • imaging of the aortic valve; mitral valve; atrial septum and tricuspid valve
  • practical imaging case examples across all interventions
