Course Structure
The Course launches on Sunday with a Workshop Day that provides you and your Heart Team with practical experience to apply to your daily practice. Monday and Tuesday build on this collaborative environment with talks on cutting edge research, LIVE demonstrations and highly anticipated presentations by keynote speakers.

3 days - 3 topics - 3 disciplines!
During the 3-day Programme at #PCRLV, the 3 topics of aortic, mitral and tricuspid valves will be addressed in sessions of which almost 90% have a ‘mixed’ panel of Heart Team representatives from 3 different fields: cardiac surgery, imaging and interventional cardiology.

Interactive workshops
Join one or more of these 9 practical, lively, interactive workshops taking place on Sunday:
- Anatomy and pathophysiology LIVE workshops - aortic, mitral and tricuspid
- Special procedures - coronary access after TAVI; transcaval access; BASILICA
- How to solve TAVI complications - coronary occlusion; vascular complications
- How to solve MitraClip complications
In addition, remember to visit the 3 brand new session rooms set aside for a 3 day programme of simulation-based learning workshops organised by the Zurich HeartLab!
Spotlight on Challenges for the Heart Team I: a new interventional paradigm for aortic valve disease
Participate in this session on Monday to learn about the impact of the latest evidence concerning TAVI vs SAVR on Heart Team discussions and patient choice. Consider unresolved questions and the implications for future planning and resource allocation, and understand how you and your colleagues can apply this information in daily clinical practice.

Controversy: Mitral regurgitation and heart failure

At this Tuesday session, hear the latest about optimal management of patients with heart failure and secondary mitral regurgitation. Engage in a discussion regarding the implications of recent trials for your clinical practice and participate in a census of current clinical opinion on this key topic.
Late-breaking trials
Prepare to join in the Late-Breaking Trial sessions at PCR London Valves 2019 to discover the very latest evidence on topics such as TAVI and percutaneous edge-to-edge repair of the mitral and tricuspid valves.
Session 1 - Monday - 10:30-10:55 Room 2
Session 2 - Monday - 15:45-16:20 Main Arena

LIVE demonstrations on transcatheter and surgical valve procedures
Once again LIVE demonstrations will be a key component of #PCRLV, from 3 LIVE Centres of excellence. Don’t miss the session taking place after the Opening Ceremony on Monday morning – with two parallel LIVE cases from Zurich on mitral valve repair: one transcatheter and one surgical.
Sessions built with your submissions!
With an overall 46% increase in the number of submissions sent in compared to last year, the Course will be a platform for top quality presentations of original data and case experience from your peers. Interested to see who has won the Best Clinical Case awards this year?
