PCR e-Course 2020 – Benefits to participation
Up to 12 CME credits and access to major publications
Those who joined the #PCReCourse on 25-27 June 2020 enjoyed some great advantages such as being able to claim up to 12 CME credits for their participation, and access to some major publications. Read on to find out more.
Claim up to 12 CME credits
PCR e-Course 2020 is accredited by the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology (EBAC) for 12 hours of External CME credits. Each participant should claim only those hours of credit that have actually been spent in the educational activity.
- The detail of this accreditation is as follows:
- Day 1 (25 June 2020. Attendance between 15:50 and 21:00 CET Paris time) – 6 CME credits
- Day 2 (26 June 2020. Attendance between 12:05 and 19:30 CET Paris time) – 3 CME credits
- Day 3 (27 June 2020. Attendance between 08:05 and 12:35 CET Paris time) – 3 CME credits
Important: In order to claim CME credits, answer the questions at the end of the survey sent to you by email. You will be sent a reply by email from 10 July onwards.


PCR e-Course Abstracts Book 2020
Published by EuroIntervention, this supplement comprises a selection of the community’s 2020 abstracts accepted for oral or moderated e-Poster presentation, the PCR’s Got Talent competition and as posters. It was be available for free in PDF format, by simply clicking on the PCR Publishing booth in the virtual Exhibition!
The PCR-EAPCI Textbook
Newly updated content was on temporary free access to the whole community from 25 June to 2 July 2020 :
- A brand new chapter on fluoroscopic anatomy for the guidance of percutaneous transcatheter interventions, by Nicolo Piazza, et al.
- A dozen updated chapters on topics such as endovascular treatment of acute ischemic stroke, near-infrared spectroscopy, and percutaneous closure of paravalvular leaks
EuroIntervention Journal
Participants were able to download the latest copy of the EuroIntervention Journal, the academic reference journal for the interventional cardiovascular community, on the PCR Publishing booth!
