Soo Teik Lim
Born in 1963, Soo-Teik Lim is the Head of the Cardiology Department and Senior Consultant Cardiologist for the National Heart Centre Singapore, as well as Director of Interventional Cardiology and Director of Medical Informatics.
In addition to his training in Singapore General Hospital, he received specialty training at the William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts as well as Bach Mai Hospital at the Vietnam National Heart Institute in Hanoi.
EDUCATION RESPONSIBILITIES
Dr Lim is currently Chairman of the Chapter of Cardiology for the Academy of Medicine in Singapore and is also an Expert Panel member for the International Atomic Energy Agency Radiation Protection in Interventional Cardiology.
HONORS AND AWARDS
Three-time recipient of the Service Quality Award by the National Heart Centre Singapore, he has also received two Excellent Service Star awards.
