One-year outcomes of blinded physiological assessment of residual ischemia after successful PCI - DEFINE PCI trial
10 Feb 2022
The objective of this analysis was to evaluate the impact of residual ischemia detected by post-PCI iFR on clinical outcomes and on residual-angina at the 12-month follow-up of the DEFINE PCI study.

Complete revascularisation: from defining PCI strategy to PCI optimisation
22 Dec 2021 – From GulfPCR-GIM 2021
In this session on percutaneous coronary intervention, learn about available physiology tools for a full coronary assessment, understand how OCT impacts decision-making to strategise and optimise PCI, and learn through case examples how the use of physiology and OCT impacts daily practice.

- An unexpected Impella...

Challenging Cases in Interventional Cardiology
15 Dec 2021 – From GulfPCR-GIM 2021
Watch this session to discover some of the most challenging cases presented at GulfPCR-GIM 2021: a complex coronary cameral fistula, an underexpanded undilatable stent, a rotational atherectomy of left main stem with DK crush stenting using double guiding catheter technique, a cathlab nightmare with stent dislodgement, a dissection of left...

Late stent failure: a harsh reality
15 Dec 2021 – From GulfPCR-GIM 2021
Let's consider the modes of late stent failure in this session that will also enable you to understand the role of intravascular imaging in guiding evaluation of stent failure, and to enhance your skillset in treating late stent failure.

Challenging Cases
15 Dec 2021 – From GulfPCR-GIM 2021
This session comprises a series of cases presenting complications to be discussed: if you were faced with them, what would be your strategy? Watch it and compare your methods with the ones of your peers!

EROSION III: A Randomized Trial of OCT-Guided Intervention in STEMI Patients With Early Infarct Artery Patency
04 Nov 2021
Elad Asher reviews the EROSION III trial, presented by Haibo Jia, which studied whether OCT guidance compared with angiographic guidance only is associated with lower stent rate implantation during pPCI in STEMI patients with non-obstructive stenosis.
