DCB PCI in restenosis and de novo lesions

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2024 Clinical Case submissions

Facilitators: M. Ahmed, P. Chiam, E. Stabile

Summary

This session will feature a series of selected clinical case submissions from EuroPCR 2024, focusing on the use of drug-coated balloons (DCB) in the management of restenosis and de novo coronary lesions. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore various strategies, including the use of a "full DEBing jacket" approach, the management of left main in-stent restenosis, and the integration of intravascular imaging and physiology guidance in complex calcified lesions. The session will provide valuable insights and practical tips for optimizing DCB-based interventions.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Full DEBing jacket
  • Left main in-stent restenosis; management in the developing country
  • 3 years angiographic follow-up after PCI using hybrid approach of bioresorbable scaffold and sirolimus drug-coated balloon
  • Severe coronary artery disease in the young – hybrid approach in 2024
  • Management of in-stent restenosis based on multimodality intravascular imaging
  • Integrating intravascular imaging and physiology-guidance in recurrent extensive calcified stenosis
  • The future, but with a pinch of salt, and the learning still continues…Bioresorbable scaffolds (BRS)
  • Blended therapy to uncage a diffusely diseased left anterior descending artery
