Summary

This session presents the latest research and data on transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). It covers a range of topics, including long-term results of TAVI versus surgical aortic valve replacement in low-risk severe aortic stenosis, real-world experience with novel transcatheter heart valve devices, outcomes in patients with atrial fibrillation after TAVI, the impact of small aortic annuli on TAVR bioprosthetic performance, and the complexity of coronary angiography following TAVI. The session aims to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the evolving evidence and considerations surrounding TAVI procedures and patient management.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Long-term results of TAVR versus SAVR in low-risk severe aortic stenosis: a meta-analysis of RCTs
  • Real-world experience of next-generation novel transcatheter heart valve-an observational registry
  • Outcomes in patients with atrial fibrillation after TAVI analysed by age: ENVISAGE-TAVI AF results
  • Reducing TAVI waitlist times using an automated algorithm-driven prioritisation score
  • In search of the best strategy for severe bicuspid aortic stenosis
  • Impact of small aortic annuli on the performance of TAVR Bioprosthetic
  • Complexity of coronary angiography following TAVI - comparison between transcatheter heart valve devices
  • Incidence of predicted prosthesis-patient mismatch after TAVI and surgical aortic valve replacement
