TAVI in complex situation - LIVE case
TAVI in patients with small annulus or pure aortic regurgitation
Summary
Discover a LIVE case followed by a recorded case exploring complex transcatheter aortic valve interventions:
- An 85-year-old woman with a history of RCA PCI, COPD, CKD stage 3, and LBBB on ECG presented with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis and preserved LV function (67%). With an aortic annulus of 335 mm², the operators implanted a Sapien 3 Ultra Resilia 23 mm without predilatation, using a single-site access (2 arterial, 1 venous).
- A 65-year-old man with severely reduced LV function on LV assist device and massive aortic regurgitation underwent implantation of a JenaValve Trinity via the femoral approach.

Learning Objectives
- to review procedural strategies in patients with a small annulus
- to show single side access for TAVI
- to discuss new treatment options for aortic regurgitation
