TAVI: complex vascular access - Part 3

Facilitators: A. Mangieri, F. Castriota

Summary

This session focuses on managing complex vascular access challenges in TAVI procedures. It includes case discussions on non-crossable aortic valve stenosis, transseptal TAVI for severe aortic regurgitation with porcelain aorta, and percutaneous implantation in patients with unconventional anatomy or conditions like shaggy syndrome. Strategies for severe bicuspid aortic stenosis with difficult access pathways are also explored.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • TAVI in non-crossable aortic valve stenosis
  • Transseptal TAVI in patient with severe aortic regurgitation and porcelain aorta
  • Percutaneous aortic valve implantation in shaggy syndrome
  • Hostile pathways: re-thinking access and strategy in severe bicuspid aortic stenosis
