Summary

This session reviews the latest evidence on new devices in coronary artery disease management. It covers outcomes from randomized controlled trials including imaging- and physiology-guided PCI with the Bioadaptor device, long-term results of thinner-strut bioresorbable scaffolds, site-specific antithrombotic therapy evaluated in the DESyne BDS Plus Trial, and comparative data on biodegradable versus permanent polymer drug-eluting stents over a decade. These insights inform the evolving landscape of coronary device technology and therapeutic strategies.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Impact of imaging, or physiology-guided PCI on outcomes with Bioadaptor from INFINITY-SWEDEHEART RCT
  • Five-year outcomes of thinner-strut Firesorb bioresorbable scaffold in the FUTURE-II trial
  • Site-specific antithrombotic therapy: DESyne BDS Plus Trial 36-month outcomes
  • Percutaneous coronary treatment with Bioadaptor vs. stent: four-years outcomes from BIOADAPTOR-RCT
