Risk and prognosis predictors in STEMI

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2026 abstract submissions

Summary

This session explores key risk and prognostic factors in ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), encompassing biomarker-based outcome prediction, the influence of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol on myocardial injury, and thrombotic risk in atrial fibrillation patients undergoing PCI. It further examines gender differences in young STEMI patients, the safety of early coronary artery bypass surgery in multivessel disease, and STEMI as an initial coronary disease presentation.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Post-procedural sST2 for outcome prediction after acute coronary syndrome treated with primary PCI
  • Beyond high bleeding risk: diabetes-driven thrombotic risk predominance in atrial fibrillation patients undergoing PCI
  • Gender difference in very young: aged 35-year-old STEMI patients
  • Safety and efficacy of early coronary artery bypass surgery in STEM with multivessel disease
  • STEMI as the first presentation of coronary disease
