✨NEW this year: To take part in the new and highly interactive “Learning from your best companions' cases” sessions, tick the right box upon submitting your work and get the chance to enhance the visibility of your case.
This year 8 different awards are being granted during EuroPCR:
Are you an MD (resident, Fellow, PhD or young cardiologist) under 40 years old?
- Have you prepared an abstract with original data (neither published, nor presented elsewhere) from a single centre/multicentre, retrospective/prospective observational study or randomised clinical trial, in the field of interventional research or care?
- Would you like to showcase your research on an international stage and have the chance to take part in a working visit of 1 week or longer to a European Interventional Centre of your choice?
This award, initiated in remembrance of Dr. Michele Pighi, is more than just an award, it’s an opportunity to support a young professional with 3,000 Euros to allow that to happen in recognition of the quality of the submitted abstract and the involvement of the submitter. Submit your scientific abstract!
Does your abstract cover research aimed at achieving more personalised patient care, whether related to diagnostic assessment, customised treatment or improving the patient pathway? Why not submit it for the PCR Award for Personalised Vascular Care?
- This award, supported by Abbott, will support the best idea or project that enhances personalised cardiovascular care for patients with a €30,000 award.
- Projects will be selected from the official Call for Abstracts of EuroPCR 2025 and the finalists will present their projects onsite, in a dedicated session.
Submit your scientific abstract and find out more about this initiative here.
This EuroPCR abstract competition is a unique platform for practitioners under 40 years old to highlight the role of outstanding communication skills.
Successful candidates will be those who are able to communicate what they have done simply, effectively, and connect the potential value of their research to interventional cardiology and the wider medical community. It is organised in 3 rounds onsite during EuroPCR, and involves professional coaching sessions on how to deliver a great oral presentation. It is therefore hard-fought and demanding, requiring dedication, time and preparation.
