- Mastery of techniques and technology
Develop expertise in structural heart interventions with special focus on advanced transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) - learning how to optimise pre-procedural planning, deliver a patient-tailored approach, manage challenging scenarios, integrate advanced cardiac imaging and ultimately optimise procedural outcomes.
- Optimised patient outcomes
Apply evidence-based practices and patient-centered approaches to manage complex structural heart conditions and TAVI procedures, focusing on minimising complications, improving procedural safety, and enhancing long-term outcomes for diverse patient populations.
- Global networking and collaboration
Foster a global community of structural heart interventionists through international networking, peer-to-peer knowledge exchange, and sharing of innovations to advance the field and improve care for patients with structural heart disease.
Participants benefit from a structured, interactive program combining:
- Online educational modules
- Expert-led case discussions
- In-person workshops and simulation sessions
- Mentorship from international faculty
- Collaborative learning within a global cohort
- Practicing interventional cardiologists
- Physicians in advanced stages of interventional training
- Professionals seeking structured, high-level subspecialty development
Good to know
- Content is tailored for interventional cardiologists at an advanced stage of their training or already in practice
- All educational material is in the English language
- Attendance is mandatory for all of the pathway’s onsite and online events
- Certificates and CME accreditation are based on participation
- The selection of participants will be at the discretion of steering committee members
The TAVI Interventional Track is supported and hosted by Meril within its network of regional academic centres. This one-year educational pathway combines in-person training with interactive virtual learning to support the development of advanced coronary intervention skills.
