- Dr. Ibrahim AL Rashdan graduated from Kuwait University in 1989 and joined his postgraduate training at the University of British Columbia Vancouver BC where he obtained his fellowship in internal medicine, cardiology and interventional cardiology between 1992-1999.
- He is American Board certified in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology.
- He works in the Kuwait heart centre, Chest diseases hospital and is an associate professor of cardiology in University of Kuwait and adjunct professor of Medicine at McGill University Montreal Canada.
- He is one of the founders of Gulf Heart Association and Course Director of GulfPCR-GIM interventional Cardiology meeting, he is a member of the PCR main board.
ACTIVE AREAS OF RESEARCH
- His interest spans complex coronary interventions, structural heart disease interventions and device innovations.
- He has a special interest in medical education having participated in curriculum reform at Kuwait medical school for the undergraduate as well as postgraduate training.
- Dr. Ibrahim AL Rashdan has a very high interest in clinical research and has actively participated in the development of the Radial and Bioresorbable scaffolds courses on PCR edu online.
