Summary
- Part 1: TAVI by axillary access (Live)
An 80-year-old female with peripheral arterial disease presents a symptomatic severe aortic stenosis with small annulus and preserved LV function.
The operators implant, by axillary access, an Evolut pro 26 mm, on general anaesthesia, with predilatation (Balloon 18 mm) and post-dilatation (22 mm). Access closure with 2 proglides + angioseal 6F.
- Part 2: Transcatheter tricuspid replacement (recorded case)
A 76-year-old female with CRT-D (2005), LVEF (35%) with severe TR, treated by Evoque 52 mm on general anesthesia and TEE guidance.
- Part 3: Transcatheter mitral replacement (recorded case)
An 80-year-old female, with severe MR and posterior MAC, treated by apex access, with Picardia shortcut to split the anterior mitral leaflet immediately prior to the deployment of a Tendyne 35 valve.
