Summary
Consider the case of a 66-year-old male patient with no previous cardiac history, but HTN for 20 years, presenting after a successfully thrombolysed inferior STEMI within the 12 hours, no other immediately obvious risk factor for IHD, good baseline functional capacity and normal bio-profile, and compare how he would be treated in different African healthcare settings.
Learning Objectives
- To better understand and evaluate bifurcation coronary lesions
- To learn how to choose the best approach and technique for different bifurcation lesions
- To learn about practical steps on how to perform bifurcation stenting and achieve good outcomes
