Summary

This session presents a series of challenging clinical cases highlighting the complex interplay between coronary artery disease and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). Attendees will witness real-world scenarios, including high-risk PCI with concomitant severe aortic stenosis, the management of degenerated aortic bioprostheses with the risk of coronary occlusion, and the occurrence of coronary complications during and after TAVI procedures. Through interactive discussions, the session aims to equip interventional cardiologists with the knowledge and strategies to navigate these complex situations and optimize patient outcomes.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Navigating challenges of complex high-risk intervention with concomitant significant aortic stenosis
  • A challenging case of high-risk PCI and TAVI in a frail woman with reduced LVEF
  • Degenerated aortic bioprothesis with high risk of left main and right coronary occlusion for TAVI
  • Chimney stent technique in a valve-in-valve procedure
  • A simple and straightforward case of TAVR? Sometimes planning is never enough
  • Severe aortic stenosis and heavily calcified right coronary artery
  • Improvisation and rotablation in a TAVI valve prosthesis
