Non left main bifurcation - LIVE case
Step-by-step TAP technique guided by OCT on LAD-D1 bifurcation
Operators:
C. Trani, F. Burzotta
Procedural Analyst:
D. Milasinovic
Summary
A 53-year-old male presented with a late STEMI one month ago. Coronary angiography revealed three-vessel disease: CX occlusion (culprit lesion), RCA bifurcation stenosis, and severe mid LAD-D1 (1-1-1) stenosis. The operators performed RCA PCI during the STEMI hospitalization.
In this live case, they performed the LAD-D1 bifurcation using the TAP technique, guided by OCT.

Key moments
- 07:58-10:09 - Procedural analysis before PCI
- 18:03-21:03
01:15:00-01:18:59 - OCT runs - 32:02-40:17 - Diagonal balloon jail during the implantation of LAD stent

Learning Objectives
- To learn how to plan PCI in the presence of a complex LAD/Diag coronary lesion
- To see the procedural sequence of stepwise provisional stenting needed to treat a complex non-left main bifurcation lesion
