Summary

What is the clinical impact of CAD in TAVR recipients and how best to treat it? Through this session, gain insight on how to determine optimal CAD assessment in TAVR recipients, learn the timing of coronary revascularisation pre-TAVR, and understand the exact assessment and treatment of coronary sinus sequestration.

Learning Objectives

  • To understand clinical impact of CAD in TAVR recepients
  • To determine optimal CAD assessment (CT, CAG, FFR or iFR) in TAVR recepients
  • To timing of coronary revascularisation pre-TAVR and coronary access for future revascularisation post-TAVR
  • To understand exact assessment and treatment of coronary sinus sequestration

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Case 1 - Combined intermediate CAD (DS 50-70%): treat or not treat (FFR, iFR, QFR or others)
  • Case 2 – Borderline age (75 years), combined single-vessel (proximal LAD) disease: optimal treatment strategy of TAVR + PCI vs. SAVR + CABG
  • Case 3 – Post-TAVR sinus sequestration case: how can we exactly diagnose and how can we treat well?
