Featured research - TAVI - Part 7

Facilitators: A. Abbas, K. Almerri

Summary

This detailed session investigates critical aspects of TAVI procedures including the safety of selective and routine femoral access angiography post-TAVI, outcomes from the ReTAVI registry focusing on redo-TAVI in various valve frames, and a comparative analysis of JenaValve versus Evolut transcatheter heart valves in severe aortic stenosis. Additional exploration includes the gradient gap post-TAVI with balloon and self-expandable valves and the introduction of a novel endovascular aortic root stent-graft system.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Safety of selective and routine femoral access angiography post TAVI
  • ReTAVI registry: outcomes of redo-TAVI in short frame and tall frame failing transcatheter heart valves
