Mitral TEER and LAA closure - LIVE Case
Combined Mitral TEER and LAA closure or isolated LAA closure
Summary
Watch a LIVE case followed by a recorded case regarding a 91-year-old female with permanent AF, LAD PCI three months earlier, and recurrent GID bleeding who presented with symptomatic severe primary mitral regurgitation due to P2 prolapse and flail. CT imaging showed a LAA with a chicken-wing morphology with anterior orientation. The PMR was treated with two MitraClip G5 (XTW) devices, followed by implantation of a 27 mm Watchman FLX Pro using a VersaCross Connect system, under general anesthesia and TEE guidance.
Recorded case: A 76-year-old male with permanent AF, recurrent episodes of hematuria, and CAD was treated with LAA closure using an AnchoMan device.
