Summary

Access challenges are among the most critical hurdles in TAVI procedures. This session explores how to identify difficult access routes using pre-procedural CT, and demonstrates practical techniques to safely overcome these obstacles. Through real-life case presentations—including challenging femoral access with a shockwave balloon, carotid access, and transcaval approaches—learn how to anticipate complications and manage peri- and post-operative risks effectively. Watch the session to see how these strategies are applied in complex TAVI cases.
