Anchorperson:

Spokesperson:
M. Gilard
Summary
This session critically evaluates antithrombotic therapy following TAVI, addressing optimal agents and regimens tailored to patients with and without atrial fibrillation. It also reviews clinical presentations and management of valve thrombosis post-TAVI, using guideline-based approaches and real-world cases to individualize patient care.
Learning Objectives
- To evaluate antithrombotic strategies after TAVI in patients with and without atrial fibrillation, considering thrombotic and bleeding risk
- To analyse the clinical presentation and management of valve thrombosis post-TAVI
- To apply guideline-based decision-making to individualise therapy across diverse post-TAVI scenarios using real patient cases
