Left main PCI, what is known and what is new

Moderators: H. Nef, G. Mohan

Summary

This session examines both established knowledge and novel advances in left main PCI. Topics include the use of novel stents and laser atherectomy in calcified lesions, the prognostic impact of cardiac motion during bifurcation PCI, effects of left ventricular dysfunction, and sex-specific survival outcomes, as well as the influence of complete revascularization on long-term patient prognosis.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Expansion of novel coronary stent in calcified left main lesions according to calcification arc
  • Laser atherectomy in calcific left main PCI: safety and efficacy from a multicenter registry
  • Prognostic value of cardiac motion-induced bending angle changes in left main bifurcation PCI
  • Impact of complete revascularisation on long-term outcomes after left main coronary intervention
  • Sex-related survival outcomes after unprotected left main PCI: evidence from the BIA-LM registry
