2025 in focus: a look at the most popular and impactful content on PCRonline.com
Dear Colleagues, dear PCR Companions,
As we welcome a New Year, it is the perfect time to reflect on what we achieved together over the past year - both as a celebration of our collective success and as motivation to continue improving in the year ahead.
2025 was once again an excellent year for the website with approximately 4,7 million page views and almost 1,8 million visits. This major achievement is thanks to the contribution of thousands of healthcare professionals, who are willing to share their clinical practice and research with their community throughout the year with the aim of a continuous learning and teaching.
An example of this is cases & complications shared after PCR Courses as Resources. Furthermore, in the last year we published 20 Journal club reviews in the section led by Nicola Ryan, 6 new My Toolkits, led by Chiara De Biase and Christian Frerker, an extensive coverage of the main cardiology congresses thank to the Editorial Board and Journal club contributors, many 16 new Read & Share cases, and 8 educational cases submitted by the Euro4C Group with Flavio Ribichini and Pierre Deharo.
In 2025, we launched a new podcast section to add a new dimension to the ever-popular PCR Perspectives led by Chris Cook and Chris Allen and recorded during EuroPCR and PCR London Valves. Dejan Milasinovic hosted 8 Heart to heart conversations, streamed live on social media and available as podcasts, in addition to the 18 PCR Webinars that took place in 2025.
And talking about podcasts, let’s not forget EuroIntervention’s “Turning Point”: a series led by Aaysha Cader on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of your favourite journal in coronary, valvular and structural interventions!
Last but not least, We also launched a special patient initiative led by Julia Grapsa on the subject of Aortic Stenosis in Women, available in 6 languages.
As the year comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt thanks to all the individuals and teams we work with whose dedication and expertise inspire everything we do. Together, we make great things happen, by and for the interventional cardiovascular community!
