Summary
In this PCR London Valves 2021 simulation-based learning session, learn the latest in transcatheter aortic valve implantation, gain an understanding of anatomical features, review imaging modalities to plan and perform procedures, and witness hands-on activities, among others.
Learning Objectives
- To better understand the anatomy of the aortic valve complex to allow optimal positioning of a TAVI prosthesis
- To appreciate how imaging (chamber views and aortic annulus S-curves) can facilitate various steps of the TAVI procedure
- To practice simulated implantation of a TAVI prosthesis
