Summary

This session features two compelling cases of percutaneous annuloplasty for advanced heart failure and massive tricuspid regurgitation:

  1. Left ventricular restoration in heart failure with reduced ejection fraction
A 56-year-old male, with type 2 diabetes, hypertension and chronic kidney disease, presented a symptomatic severe LV dysfunction (26%) and severely dilated (78 mm). The operators decided to implant an AccuCinch system.
  2. Cardioband in tricuspid regurgitation
An 85-year-old female with a preserved LV function (HFpEF) presented a symptomatic massive TR with severe RA dilatation without pulmonary hypertension. The operators implanted a Cardioband.

Recorded cases from Montefiore Einstein Medical Center, New York, USA, and Bad Oeynhausen, Germany
