PCR Seminars CIS-Russia

PCR Seminars 2022

The first of this series of workshops PCR CIS-Russia Seminars in face-to-face format took place in Moscow on October 21-22, 2021.

The Seminar is dedicated to the interventional treatment of complex coronary artery lesions - bifurcations and chronic occlusions (CTO).

It consisted of 150 practitioners participating onsite in Moscow and a further 2,466 who took part online, from the comfort of their home or office.

The format of the First Seminar is based on the Review of clinical cases, which is one of the most effective ways of presenting and teaching endovascular methods for the treatment of atherosclerotic arterial lesions. One case was presented by a facilitator from the PCR team, one case from the local facilitators. Then a discussion, a critical assessment of the presented material and a conclusion.

From the PCR side, the Founders and prominent platforms of PCR and the European intervention community were represented – Professor Jean FajadetProfessor Goran Stankovic (bifurcation session) and Professor Kambis Mashayekhi (CTO session). On the Russian side, co-chairmen and moderators of well-known representatives of the country in the field of interventional cardioangiology.
