PCR Seminars 2022
Once again in 2022, PCR Seminars traveled the globe to provide education and training to small groups of participants. Each of the 2-day sessions were tailored to cover a particular topic, and address all of the challenging issues in patient management. They were facilitated by experienced experts who use state-of-the-art tools to ensure maximum interactivity and relevance to daily practice.
Management of a patient with acute coronary syndrome
10 February 2022 – Cairo, Egypt
The first PCR Seminar of the year took place on 10 February, and a grand total of 332 participants gathered for it in Cairo. It was facilitated by the experienced interventional cardiologists Jean Fajadet, Bruno Farah, and Hazem Khamis.
Participants were able to gain a better understanding of the optimal management strategy for each patient presenting with complex CAD, and how to apply the optimal treatment strategy considering the individual’s clinical situation in light of local conditions and the best available evidence.

Recorded LIVE in-a-box and videos of complex cases were used for a step-by-step reasoning approach, and triggered debate and the lively exchange of different viewpoints.

undertaking complex procedures in their daily practice. It was attended by around 70 participants, and facilitated by the seasoned interventional cardiologists Faisal Al Qoofi, Mohammed Al Otaiby and Jean Fajadet.
The first day was dedicated to interventions in patients with left main disease: the current knowledge and optimal management strategy for bifurcation lesions with or without a LM bifurcation. On the second day, participants were provided with an update on developments for the treatment of ACS, including STEMI and NSTEMI. A variety of cases and culprit/non-culprit lesions were discussed, helping to fully understand the best clinical strategy.
