Management of stable CAD

Session comprising selected EuroPCR 2026 abstract submissions

Moderators: R. De Silva, W. H. Yin

Summary

This session provides an in-depth review of current management strategies for stable coronary artery disease (CAD). Topics include angiographic predictors influencing PCI efficacy in stable angina, comparative outcomes of immediate versus staged PCI, and analyses of treatment approaches for significant left anterior descending artery disease. The prognostic value of dynamic plaque changes assessed by dual-phase coronary CT angiography and the role of CS Reducer implantation in refractory angina are also examined.

Presentations available when logged in:

  • Angiographic predictors of the placebo-controlled efficacy of PCI in stable angina
  • Hospital outcomes of immediate vs. staged PCI in stable CAD: a meta-analysis
  • Analysis of medical and invasive treatment of significant left anterior descending artery disease
  • Prognostic value of dynamic plaque morphological changes on dual-phase coronary CT angiography
  • CS Reducer implantation for refractory angina: insights from subgroup analyses of the UK audit
