- Medmastery video on use of different types of masks - Droplets versus Aerosol - what is dangerous?
- Community 1st responder - Video of Ambulance crew PPE
- Which mask is right for you? Back to masks- the difference between a surgical mask as a respirator N95 or FFP3 mask- the surgical mask protects the patient from you - the respirator protects both of you from each other! This video is from 3M - other brands are available!
- Putting a surgical mask on and reusing it - non COVID ward - I would not reuse a mask after contamination - and surgical masks can not be washed.
- Use, extended use, limited re-use of N95 masks- a summary of the data - you can sterilise masks by heat or UV light. Not alcohol or bleach as these affect the electrostatic effect and ruin the filtration properties.
