PCR Seminars 2025: education brought to your doorstep!
PCR TAVI Seminar
29–30 November 2025 – Cebu, Philippines
PCR TAVI Seminar in collaboration with Medtronic
The PCR TAVI Seminar took place on 29–30 November 2025 in Cebu, Philippines. As part of PCR’s educational initiative for emerging countries, this programme highlighted the Philippines - an early TAVI adopter in APAC with more than a decade of experience.

Over two days, participants explored strategies to enhance transcatheter aortic valve implantation practice through interactive sessions and case-based learning. The seminar focused on:
- Imaging analysis and predictive planning
- Complication prevention and management
- Complex scenarios: bicuspid anatomy, TAV-in-SAV, CAD/AS
- Long-term therapy strategies, including durability insights and redo-TAVI planning
Led by world-renowned PCR faculty Kentaro Hayashida, Yohei Ohno and Didier Tchetche and local experts See Hooi Ewe and Wei Hsian Yin, the seminar strengthened clinical expertise and heart-team collaboration across the region. The programme combined clear explanations with practical insights, offering an exceptional opportunity to refine decision-making and improve patient outcomes in TAVI therapy.

Bifurcation and Left Main PCI
5–6 November 2025 – Manila, Philippines
PCR Seminar supported by Medtronic
This PCR Seminar in Manila gathered interventional cardiologists from across the Philippines for an intensive educational experience focused on bifurcation and left main PCI. PCR facilitators Goran Stankovic and Jacek Legutko were joined by leading local experts Rowena Cacas and Ryan Buendia for a high-level exchange of expertise.

Participants engaged in a comprehensive programme designed to strengthen their understanding of step-by-step techniques for bifurcation stenting and imaging-guided left main PCI. The sessions also addressed strategies to anticipate and manage complications, with a strong emphasis on practical learning through case-based discussions.
The seminar combined keynote lectures, interactive case presentations, and real-world scenarios. This dynamic approach was highly valued by participants, who appreciated the clarity of explanations, the balance between theory and practice, and the relevance to their daily work. 27–28 October 2025 – Toulouse, France
PCR Training on TAVI supported by MERIL
PCR TAVI Training at Clinique Pasteur, Toulouse, gathered 19 participants from Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and Morocco for an intensive educational experience on transcatheter aortic valve implantation. PCR facilitators Nicolas Dumonteil and Didier Tchétché were joined by Alec Vahanian for a high-level exchange of expertise.

Participants engaged in a comprehensive programme designed to strengthen their understanding of patient selection, CT scan interpretation, and procedural standardisation for transfemoral TAVI. The sessions also addressed strategies to anticipate and manage complications, with a strong emphasis on practical learning through live cases and simulation.
The training combined keynote lectures, interactive case-based discussions, and work on a simulation station. This dynamic approach fostered active participation and collaborative learning, enabling attendees to refine their clinical strategies and enhance their daily interventional practice.

Best practices in Interventional cardiology
4-6 July 2025 – Delhi, India
PCR Seminar India supported by Centrix
This PCR Seminar in Delhi, India, brought together 483 participants to discuss about best practices in interventional cardiology. PCR facilitators Salvatore Brugaletta and Dejan Milasinovic were joined by local experts Ashok Seth and Sengottuvelu Gunasekaran for a high-level educational exchange.

Participants were immersed in a substantive and highly educational programme designed to enhance their management of left main disease. Key areas of focus included the role of imaging, the selection of appropriate devices and strategies for treating calcified lesions, and best practices in the context of acute coronary syndrome. The main topics centred on left main and calcified lesions, with acute MI as a key sub-topic. A step-by-step reasoning approach and interactive case discussions encouraged active participation and a fruitful exchange of clinical perspectives.
The training format, combining clear explanations with interactive learning methods, was widely praised by participants. Management of a patient with a left main stenosis
21 February 2025 – Almaty, Kazakhstan
With an educational grant from Raymed
This PCR Seminar on left main stenosis gathered a considerable 250 participants in the largest city of Kazakhstan. PCR facilitators Martine Gilard (France) and Marko Noc (Slovenia) were joined by seven experienced regional facilitators from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Russia.

The dense and educational programme covered the essentials of left main, culotte technique, DK-crush and left main in ACS, as well as sharing memorable bifurcation cases from local practitioners. Throughout, a step-by-step reasoning approach and interactive case discussions were used to foster debate and encourage the fruitful exchange of views among participants and facilitators - with the added advantage of simultaneous translation.
Those who took part fully appreciated this exceptional opportunity to gain a better understanding of the particularity of a bifurcation including the LM, how to define the best management including imaging, and how to apply optimal treatment considering each individual’s clinical situation.
