First prospective multicenter experience with left distal transradial approach for coronary chronic total occlusion interventions using a 7-french glidesheath slender
EuroIntervention Journal: Just Accepted Articles
Learn how to assess the feasibility and safety of the left distal transradial artery (LDTRA) approach using a 7 Fr Glidesheath Slender for chronic total occlusion (CTO) percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs).
From March to May 2018 a total of 41 consecutive CTO PCIs were performed through LDTRA access using a 7 Fr Glidesheath Slender. Technical and procedural success, defined as achievement of technical success using the initially selected LDTRA access with no in-hospital mayor adverse cardiovascular events (MACE), were respectively 90,3% and 78%.
