While there are several publications describing the anatomy of the aortic valvar complex, few specifically focus on the unique challenges presented by transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI). Herein, we provide a detailed and comprehensive description of the anatomy of the aortic valvar complex as it pertains to TAVI.
