NSTEMI (Non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction)

This is the first prospective natural history study to evaluate the utility of comprehensive intravascular imaging with both IVUS and NIRS in predicting future adverse events following acute myocardial infarction.

The study aimed to evaluate the validity of the Academic Research Consortium for High Bleeding Risk (ARC-HBR) criteria for East Asian patients undergoing contemporary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) from the PENDULUM registry.

ULTIMATE provides additional long-term randomised control data showing the benefit of IVUS guided PCI in an all-comers population.
